Just got a call today at 1:45pm, and a recording came on, stating it is the IRS with a claim against us, and if we do not respond immediately they will go ahead and charge us. It said we must call 210-888-0979
I was surprised, since we had just sent off an updated amendment to the IRS inquiry they had made, regarding an error.
I recv'd this same call at 10:30 am Pacific Time today (June 17th) with a recorded message stating they were from the IRS and I had a lawsuit against me. When I called the # back, it rang over 30 times with no answer. I did not press *82 to identify myself to the responding party.
I received a call today being threatened with a lawsuit from the IRS o6/17/2015. Caller wouldn't identify company,but said he worked with IRS in Washington DC. Had a very strong accent,couldn't understand a lot of what he said.Sounded like maybe Spanish or Mexican.
