had a call from them today asking me about windows sending error messages i laughed asked him what errors he wanted me to go to my computer i was driving at the time. then asked him what computer software he was talking about and he says windows i laughed again, i don't own windows everything i have is mac and he hung up stupid [***].
Got a call on my cell phone from a man stating he was with Microsoft Windows and that my computer was sending errors to their server and wanted me to give him access to my computer to resolve the issue. I refused. Told him it was a scam and hung up on him.
Just got a call. Windows support and my computer was sending errors and he could fix it. Knew it was a scam right away but I tried to ask some clarifying questions but he had no answers.

called about the error messages my "Windows" is sending. I asked if he worked for Microsoft, he said no, windows support. He was quite insistent that he needed to fix my computer. I said I was in front of my screen, he asked me to click on the Start button, I said I don't have one (mac user), and he called me a "motherf...er" and hung up.
Note, their number shows the name 212-414-415 (without the last 5).
