I just turned off the ringers on all my phones a few years ago. Almost of these scammers don’t leave a message and when I hear someone leaving a message is the only time I know there’s an incoming call.
Been keeping a list of “Missed calls” from my caller ID for a while now. I’m up to 405 crap calls so for this year with a month and a half to go. It just thrills me to know that the FTC is doing such a good job in eradicating these scumbags.
About seeing your own name and number... Happened to me for the first time October 16th.
At first I almost picked it up as my son has the same name.
The caller must have my full name and telephone number plus the ability to spoof the ID anytime.
I wonder who it is or what they want?
I received a call at high noon from this number: A recording started playing immediately to say that I am a senor citizen. I do not give permission for anyone to know my age, so I automatically hung up. Not a good sales pitch; you need to bone up on phone decorum. Ignore, ignore, and ignore these calls!
