i kno what number that is it is tele a parent. it calls between the hours of 6pm and 9pm to report to your parents something good or bad you did in school that day.... i just got one and it was a good report!!!! i hope i helped.....

I get incoming call then when I answer the call drops.

I've received so far this evening 15 calls within 2 hours from 213-415-0018. California has an automated system called TeleParent. Children are given emergency cards which are supposed to be their parent's contact information. Some children submit bogus numbers and the numbers are often out of state, yep even go as far as the east coast! Call 1-800-688-6077, which is the call center for TeleParent. I've had to be taken off the list twice now. It will end the annoying calls, hopefully for good. Or until the next child writes down another bogus number and it happns to be yours. Good luck.

This number is an automated message system used by schools to send messages to parents to inform them of current invents and or personal situations at your childs school. For example the principal may have an important message or reminder for all parents so when this number calls you and you answer, its a pre recorded message of the principal on the other end relaying a message to you. If you do not answer and it goes to your voicemail or answer machine the pre recorded message will be left on your voicemail or machine , although sometimes that may not be the case. Instead the machine may opt to call you back at a later time in which if you dont answer at the later time a voice message will be left on your machine. Its also used by teachers who need to communicate with the parents of the students only in their class not the whole school. For example i have receieved a couple of automated messages saying how well my son is doing is school and what subject he is doing well in. The message will say something like this: "Your child (first & last name) in (Teachers name) 3rd grade class is exceeding in math. He plays well with others and follows all class rules. He is a pleasure to have at (schools name)." You can also receive messages if your child is not doing well in school. So there you have it that is what this number is. If you are getting calls from this number and you have no children then chances are that someone accidently wrote or used your number on the contact info when they signed their child up for school. The number is taken from the childs contact info and placed on the caller list. The reason they started doing this from what i know is to save paper. It makes alot of sense if you think about it.
