thanks for posting the DNC number. I just called and entered my number to not be called. I'm sure this will work. I had been asked if I would take a survey when I spoke to someone at BofA a couple months ago. Maritz has called many times, which I mostly ignore - or if I pick up the phone it's just not convenient to do the survey at that moment. I'm now tired of their evening calls so I'm glad to have come across the number to get me off the list.
I received the same call, finally answered, the gentleman said he was calling from my credit card company (he gave the name) and said the call was regarding a satisfaction survey regarding a recent call I had made to my credit card company. I replied I did not recall making a call. He was polite and said "sorry, thank you for your time".
This number called my house about 4 or 5 times this evening. I picked up on none not because I have caller ID but because I was busy. I finally dialed the code to get the number to find out who was calling so many times and it was this. I'm glad I came to the computer to see what this is about. Thank you all!
I received a call at 8:30pm on 9/30/08. The caller claimed to be doing a survey about my "most recent banking experience". He claimed to be calling on behalf of Bank of America. He asked me if I had time for the survey and I told him I wasn't interested in a survey...especially at 8:30 at night...and I'd appreciate it if I wasn't called again as I do my banking online and don't have a recent banking experience. I told him thank you and I hung up.
I just received the same phone call. I want more information on this number and who is trying to get my account information. I call the bank and they said that they have no one to report phone calls to only online scams.
