I just got a call from 305-587-2091. They said that they were calling to lower my interest rate and that they were calling from cardmember services. I asked the guy if he was calling from my visa card services, how come he didnt know what my current interest rate was and he hung up. I called back and got the message that this number is an unattended mailbox and it could not recive any incoming calls>>>SCAMS..
I received two scam calls today. 503 457 1085 and 305 587 2091. I am on both the state and federal DNC lists which seem to be worthless. Anyway, I go to free reverse number lookup at whitepages.com. It said that these numbers came from a phone number from Nextel and Cingular. I will be caling both of these companies to lodge complaints. We should all do this and eventually it wil stop. These big companiaes have no trouble bliling me for every call I make and they could band together to stop this. These calls about interest rates have been going on for years. The phone companies won't stop it because they are somehow making money off it. And the scammers are making money also, or they would not be in business. They look for retarded people or trusting elderly and the just plain desparate or stupid so the rest of have to suffer. Lets band together and start calling the phone companies because the FCC is worthless.
