I just got a call from 305-587-2091. They said that they were calling to lower my interest rate and that they were calling from cardmember services. I asked the guy if he was calling from my visa card services, how come he didnt know what my current interest rate was and he hung up. I called back and got the message that this number is an unattended mailbox and it could not recive any incoming calls>>>SCAMS..
Has anyone thought of giving them a taste of their own medicine? Well, I knew of this scam because they called a few times trying to represent different companies. I googled their number as did the rest of you reading my post. I see how many of you are upset at these calls, so just give them what they want, start sharing information with them; but not your information. I gave numbers to either the Attorney General or F.B.I. office stating this is my cell phone numberas. I gave them an address to the Local Police Department and Federal Court house stating this is our business address. I gave them fax numbers to my local phone company. If you can't fight them then send the fight to someone who can.
I've resorted to trying to get the live person on the line and just ask them to send me my $16K. I explain that it will save them the attorney's fees and court costs to just send me the money the law says I can sue them for because they violated the DNC. Tried that with these guys and as soon as I hit the "1" button to connect to the live person it hung up!
this # called 2-3-12 @2.40pm & since we did not recognize the name, we let it ring 2 times & on the 3rd ring we hit the #key until the caller ID screen was full. We have been doing that with an annoying # that calls every other day at different times, but apparently hitting the # key, just breaks that one call & does not deter the @%#$^ caller permanently. We have been on donotcall register since its beginning & have renewed whenever needed. Nothing seems to stop the idiots and since we have never dealt with the Co. how did they get our land phone #?
This caller is a SCAM. They call all the time. DO not give them any information and you CAN BLOCK them if you have that setting. Here are the numbers that I found to be SCAMMERS!!!!
