Called me and I foolishly gave them info on my card, then called my card company to stop my card and issue another, just had a feeling that they were not on the level. Then discovered all these comments, glad I stopped my card!!
You can get even with spammers like that one by holding them on the phone as long as you can. How you can do it? Give them some fictitious account numbers and express a genuine interest on what they have to offer. They deal in call volumes hoping for somebody to reveal actual account information in order to steal your money and more time they spent with you on the phone the less time they have to scam somebody else. That method in dealing with spammers is very effective.
I pressed 9 and spoke was transfered to live person. I asked to put me on 'no call list', but the person hung up on me in the middle of the sentence. It is clearly a scamer on a fishing expedition looking for the next victim.
321-507-3218 called us. I didn't answer - know no one in Florida. No message left. Read these complaints, many thanks! Added the number to my CenturyTel Call Block service. Sure wish CenturyTel allowed more than 12 #s to be listed. These scam calls are unending, even tho we're on our state's Do Not Call list and also pay for an unlisted number.
