Called me and I foolishly gave them info on my card, then called my card company to stop my card and issue another, just had a feeling that they were not on the level. Then discovered all these comments, glad I stopped my card!!
Received call from this number offering lower interest rates.........u kidding me in this Fed bale out model taking care of their bank buddies lower interesting rates? Arrest the jerks and send them to Yemen for running this scam
The do not call list only works if the company follows the rules. These are obviously some scammin schmucks so I doubt they are following the rules. I get about one of these calls a day and figure I'll start pressing 9 to get to a person even if they hang up etc at least I've waisted their time too!
Same thing happened to me too. You know, the telephone companies need to start taking some responsibility with these #'s. If they get numerous reports about these types of calls, they need to turn the services off and hold the owner responsible for spam telephone calls.
