They had my wife's email and name but that was all. They said we paid $347 for a computer protection plan (NOT) and we needed services. I told them to go f#%k themselves and have done this many times. Is there any way to block this number as they call 3-10x/week?
Now that they wont stop calling me every day, i decided to have my own fun...i use old mans voice, or a brit, scottish accents, really messes with there mind, cant understand you and they hang up...."Problems with my windows? No my windows go up and down fine" Screw with their brains, go along with their little tale then tell them to FOFF..... :)
I too wish i knew how to block these people....every day its either this number, or an 800 number, 866 and more....But you have to mess with their brains, each time...tell them you dont own a dell and your windows go up and down fine so wont be needing any repairs :P
An Indian fellow called and said he was from Intel and there was something wrong with my computer. He knew my first name. He wanted me to type the windows key + R, which brings up the Run box. Then type in www.cbttr.com. I refused to do it because it would give him control of my computer. He asked me to go to the website www.cbttr.com, which I would not do. He wanted me to go to the Intel site and search for his website, which didn't show up. When I told him I didn't think Intel operated this way he called me a MotherF*@^# and hung up. I know Intel doesn't operate that way.
