This company called me saying I had a pending lawsuit with the irs from 2008-2012 taxes. He was obviously of Indian (India) decent, said his name was Sam Johnson, employee id 59372.
This number called me 3 to 4 times today stating it was the IRS and filling a lawsuit against me called the number and no answer or all circuits busy a scam to get information from people. Called my local Police Department and filled a complaint today on 11/5/2015.
Whew! ! What a relief... it pays to research phone numbers to determine authentic calls. As we all know how IRS phone service work. Or should I say not work. Miss the good o'le days when you are actually greeted by a (yes ) HUMAN being.
Beware this is a scam Google IRS phone scams on line and see learn about this scam I got a call also first it was a voice mail scam saying it was my final notice and a lawsuit was vs me call back the IRS and I did just to see how this scam is. I called it was a man with a idian voice saying I owe 4500 I was going to jail and the cops will cops will come to my house don't fall for this scam please report them. They look for victims to scam this was was on the news they are calling from a call center
This is not the IRS this a spoof number in a different country call your local police or FBI warn others about this scam so more people month fall for this scam they acted like a officer on the phone reading me fake charges not real
called me once from 346-971-6231 and same call 20 minutes later from 346-971-6291. prerecorded message that I was being sued by the IRS and I need to call them back at 346-971-6291 immediately. I blocked both numbers, and will update if they call from yet another number.
