This company called me saying I had a pending lawsuit with the irs from 2008-2012 taxes. He was obviously of Indian (India) decent, said his name was Sam Johnson, employee id 59372.
I had the same experience just an hour back. Got a call & he left an voice mail message stating:
Revenue Services the reason of this call is to inform you that I rs is filing lawsuit against you to get more information about this case file. Please call immediately on our department number 346-971-6291 I repeat 346-971-6291 Thank you?
I immediately Googled & found it's a scam! Phew! What a relief.
Folks, Please ignore the message & do not call back - As they are great CON artists who can jeopardize your situation. They totally run on your fear! Beware & report it to the tax inspector.
