The number could be from anywhere in the world! Yes, the 'computer Tech' guys really try hard to speak with an American accent and use a typical 'American' name. I've been called numerous times over the years and had played my own games with 'Alex'...who got very mad when I told him I would not turn my computer over to him. I hung up when the swearing started. He called me back....twice. Last time I said I'd called the FBI.or FTC. He hung up. Two week after that, "Alex" called again. I reminded that I'd called the FBI, all my calls are now recorded. It's been almost a year. And so the scams start again with a new batch of idiots
String them along pretending to do what they want me to do on my computer, until they get to the point where they ask for payment... How much will it be? $XX Well, I don't have a credit card, but I can give the money to your mom when I bang her tonight!! The guy went ballistic... Why are you so mad? She seems to love it everytime I see her!! hahaha, I smiled and hung up. Best 5 minutes of leisure fun I spent!
Got a call man on other end with accent. Said he wanted to fix my computer for a virus. I told him I don't own a computer ( which I do ) it hasn't been used in forever. Well he kept arguing with me that I do , but said it was in my moms name which is not true. He argued with me for a few minutes then I hung out. This isn't the first time they called. How come they haven't been shut down yet?
Simon says those cow humpers still are trying and I suspect they do get suckers to fleece or they would not be calling so tell them to hump all the cows in India and Pakistan. P.S. caller ID= unavailable...................really lame and a indicator of a scam.
