First of all, a legit debt company does not call people threatening them with violence. Also a legit debt company does not continue to call WRONG numbers harassing innocent people that have no debts or outstanding loans of any type & after explaining this, a legit debt company does not continue to harass, threat or call after confirming their innocence.

You may want to shut your trap. This thread points to all the "research" anyone needs to tear apart your false and illegal threats, and then get you "sued and served" for multiple FDCPA violations.
Received a voicemail(female) on my cellphone advising me that I had a returned check from my bank and I needed to call (404) 445-2833, Doesn't say who is calling. Absolutely a scam since I check my bank account quite frequently and I have not had any returned items. Besides, my bank would inform me by mail and email if that was the case. Won't be wasting my time calling them but will be filing complaints with the FTC and state attorney general. I googled this number and it appears this may be some collection agency trying to scare people using Reed White & Associates, 2274 Salem Rd. Ste. 106=224, Conyers, Ga. 30013, Fax(404) 445-2822 or toll free(877) 283-5481.
