Called my cell phone, but they didn't leave a message. I closed all of my credit card accounts about a year ago, so it's definitely a scam since most of the comments say it's about lowering interest rates.
The same thing that happened to another person below, just happened to me. Call came in from my own number, and then about 15 mins later a call came in from the number above. And one try was not enough. It was a ring once, hang up, but they tried 3 times. I did not answer and no msg was left. What a pain.
I am also on DO NOT CALL REGISTRY and update several times per year. I have 2 credit cards neither are past due. Did not answer, caller did not leave voicemail.
Just got a phone call from this number. They answered the phone by saying an ambiguous opener, "Card Member Services." I said hello, can you tell me what card this is for? They said don't you know, its your card. I said no on purpose so as to be very vague. Then the person on the line said and I quote, "[***]!" and hung up on me! What jerks! Such scam artists!
