I checked around. This phone number is 'called' Tea Party Patriots. Apparently they don't have anything to do with the 'tea party'. The common characteristic among the call recipients is that someone in the household (or the address) might have voted for the Republicans (GOP) in one of the last 2 elections. So this number (group) is being used to harass these people till they get fed up with the Tea Party and stop supporting it.
I can't get more information to find out if this is a Democratic funded scammer or someone doing it on his own funds to try help the Democrats.
Remember the IRS!
Maybe, this is a variant on the same kind of harassment.
If it is really the Tea Party calling, they would wait to talk to you about their cause and ask for your support or at least, for a donation. This number just calls till you want to pull your hair out. No other intent behind it.
They say that they are the Tea Party.. but as the Tea Party is not a ''organized group'' that would have a bank account or a tax number, these people must be scammers. It is surely the lastest scam..!!.. do not give them money and do not give them a credit card number!!! they are scammers
TPP is probably Tea Party Patriots. My TP is affiliated with them. I never saw the need for a national group, but they do organize some of the big rallies.
The number 404-891-5541 calls home number at least twice daily. They never leave a message and we never answer. We are on the DO NOT CALL list but get more calls than ever. I believe they sale numbers for profit. Being on the list certainly does nothing about these calls even if you report them.
