Got call from this number just now, accent, noted they were from Microsoft and my computer had malicious code and was notifying them. I said "No." He kept talking. I said "No." again. He said sorry Bryan, Im not getting you. I said "You dont know what no means? Bye" Click. A$$ hats.
The middle eastern person named Shawn smith said they were from Microsoft. Wanting me to log into my computer and give them access. Didn't like it when I started calling them derogatory names.
As with the others, Indian male calling stated his name was Joe Montana from Microsoft in Georgia. I quickly stopped his speel and told him I knew he was not who he said he was and that I had only apple products and he hung up.
This same Indian guy called. I was skeptical but ran the error log. Anyhow, I ran the command for the website and it wanted me to download something. I use a similar site so I knew this guy was going to try to get in my computer. So I hung up on him and he called back 3 times.
Called sounded like he was from India, and claimed to be from Intel (yeah, right) and needed computer information. I simply told him I wasn't THAT blonde :)
Same as everyone got a call saying they got a virus alert, etc I got her to supply with name address , etc and another phone # then I blocked # and reported to Microsoft and copied and pasted the info the crook supplied to me.
