Got call from this number just now, accent, noted they were from Microsoft and my computer had malicious code and was notifying them. I said "No." He kept talking. I said "No." again. He said sorry Bryan, Im not getting you. I said "You dont know what no means? Bye" Click. A$$ hats.
Sept 7, 2015 i got 2 phone calls from this # 406-893-2166 and he said my name and i ask you are and he said that he was Microsoft and that he want to get in my computer to fix my hard drive and i told him that Microsoft never calls and he said yes he is from Microsoft.
I have been called by this number at least 3 times. I have a program on my Android device which tells me which numbers are suspicious or harassment numbers with multiple complaints against them. I have it set to automatically disconnect and block such numbers.
When I called the number from several other numbers, it is either always busy or I get a recorded message saying, "this call cannot be completed as dialed. Please check the number and dial again.
I had been getting this annoying call every time each week and even sometimes late evening , so I check the area code the # located in Montana, and I am not even located in US. I knew something phising going on, now that I check this site, I know really it was a scam.
