the call came in, same deal as everyone else, lowering my rates, blah blah blah, I pressed 9 to tell them I was on a do not call list, after I asked to be removed from their lists, the guy who picked up started yelling at me for wasting his time, called me a "stupid mick" and said I was a stupid pile of sh*t from Boston, then he claimed to be the owner of the company and told me to get a fuc*ing job, I laughed (it was pretty funny) and asked him what his company name was, and he hung up. too funny!
Recorded message said not a problem with account at this time, press "9" to get a lower interest rate. Curious, so I pressed "9" and was offered lower interest rate. I asked what acct? He said any Visa or MasterCard I had. I said in other words this is a cold call and you don't know what accounts I have. He said because I have high credit score and good payment record I could get lower rate. I told him I don't owe anything. He seemed surprised and asked if I meant I didn't carry credit card balance. I told him that was right, take me off the list, and NEVER call me again. If he knew that much about me, he would have known that. This is a SCAM and really annoying.
got a call from 407-000-1919. push 9 to speak to a person. someone answered but would not give me their name or number. when I pushed the issue they just hung. this cannot be a legimate call. the company called themselved card services.
They called and a recording gave me the "lower your credit card interest" garbage. I pressed 9 as instructed and told them I didn't even have a credit card and to take me off their phone list. They guy replied "yes sir, am doing that now sir. Thank you very much."
Do not call list? Yea right! Hey Mr president, how about some change here?
Let's get the do not call list to do what it was supposed to do!
