Received a call from 407-000-1919. Pressed 9 got immediately directed to a male subject. Upon his answering politely asked if he would remove me from his call list, and that I was on the Do Not Call List. Subject proceeded to start cursing and swearing at me. After a short return he proceeded to threaten me with physical harm. Wanted me to come meet him in Maryland on Rt 109. Told him he could visit me anytime and that I would be more than happy to introduce him to my local law enforcement friends. He said he may stop by. After about 15 minutes and more of his ranting he hung up. The call was logged and is traceable. Upon hanging up I contacted local law enforcement and have filed a formal complaint for threathened bodly harm and have agreed to press charges. A supeona is being sought to trace the call forwarding from 407-000-1919 to his number as I type this. By the way that is what happens when you press 9 the call is forwarded to either a cell or another number. When the call is transferred they have your number and caller-id that is how they relate to you. He called me by my first name. It is my belief that this is a major scam operation that is crossing inter-state lines. I traced the 417-000-1919 to a Kimberly (last name omitted intentionaly) who lives in Orlando Fl. I'm not sure if her number isn't being identified as the originator when she may not be involved. The trace will identify if this is so. Anyone getting these calls needs to file a police report especially when you are threatened as well as a complaint with the FTC.
