I had a call from a 'Jennifer Thomas' in accented English, who asked to be transferred to a high executive in another branch of the company. When I told her his name didn't ring a bell, she asked me if I had access to our company's global directory to give her his direct line. I told her that I was sure if she needed someone of that level, she would have his assistant's number.
Picked up the call and he started trying to verify one of our employees information, email, telephone, job title, department. Sound like telemarketing to me.
recvd call from this number 3 times, asking for different people, wanting to verify email address, which he had incorrect information, and then wanted their direct lines which we do not give out. told him to leave v/m and they will get back to him if they want to use his services. I called the number back and it goes to someones ext at their desk and you can not leave a message. Frustrating!
Called # back & it stated that I had reached the VoiceMail for ext 4000 - but the system could not accept voicemails at this time.
Called back gain - got diff recorded msg that I had reached the voicemal for 4084546387. I was able to leave a msg on that one.
Will see if they stop calling ... if not then they will be left on hold & on the reject list.
