I had a call from a 'Jennifer Thomas' in accented English, who asked to be transferred to a high executive in another branch of the company. When I told her his name didn't ring a bell, she asked me if I had access to our company's global directory to give her his direct line. I told her that I was sure if she needed someone of that level, she would have his assistant's number.
Have received many calls during the last two weeks from a man with a heavy accent and usually a bad connection on several different lines. I have to think that they're the same person. During one inquiry, he claimed to be a student, looking for information! The other numbers were 508-532-0911, 646-844-1954, and 503-470-5397.
Just spoke with one of the firm's executive assistants, who was very upset that Michael from Smart Inc. was able to dial the CFO directly (!) several times to request the extensions and email addresses for other executives as well as managers.
Have received multiple calls from this number. They ask about certain employees (most of whom have not worked here in years). When I asked what he wanted, he said he already had the info, he just wanted to confirm the employee was still here. I told him I couldn't give him that info. He was very pushy. He asked someone else about another employee. When I confronted him about what he wanted about that person, he said "I'm not asking you about him."
So funny that 'Roger Anderson' is calling from India (I did get him to confirm that), even though he was ID'ed as a California number - I got to speak to 'John'
