I had a call from a 'Jennifer Thomas' in accented English, who asked to be transferred to a high executive in another branch of the company. When I told her his name didn't ring a bell, she asked me if I had access to our company's global directory to give her his direct line. I told her that I was sure if she needed someone of that level, she would have his assistant's number.
Called SEVEN times on Friday and is now calling again (it's Tuesday). Call center, heavy accent, claiming to be Roger from Smart, Inc., but won't give me any more information. Keeps insisting that he needs contact info for employees (we don't give that out) and gets belligerent.
Try to call back and get a recording that the voicemail is full.
Call received on 27 Jan. They hung up. I looked up the number and found this list indicating problems others have had. Looks like they are still at it in 2016!
They just called me - what should I do? I didn't pick up, I just want them to not call me. Why are they calling please help in the name of all that is Holy please help me!
