I have received several calls from this number from a guy who says he is Derrick Brown from the IRS and that my husband must call back and ask for Michael Carter and gives a reference number. Although I am making payments to the IRS, I have the correct name and phone number to the gentleman at IRS who is facilitating me with our IRS claim. THIS IS A SCAM!
i just received a phone call from a man with a thick accent claiming he was with the IRS faux dept he gave me this number to call with a reff number and had me ask for a michael carter - michael told me that i would be arested and owed the IRS $4000. they wanted my attorney number.
I also got the same call from a man with a think Indian accent and I couldn't understand what he was talking about and he asked me to call 415-690-8134 as well and talk to Michael Carter, a woman picked up and said that Michael Carter had left for the day and to call back on Monday. I asked her what is this regarding and she said they need my attorney's number. I kept asking simple questions to both the man with the Indian accent and the woman at that number and they could not give me any straight answers...
Have received at least 1 call per day, claiming to be from IRS - wanting name of Lawyer, if I do not return the call, I will be arrested.
Person spoke in very broken English - only understood 1 or 2 words.
