By calling the POLICE (I hope NOT 911). What would you being saying to them (as to the nature of your call)?
"aaahhh, Hello, POLICE DEPT:......
It’s almost midnight and I just now got a phone call from someone (i.e. a solicitor)trying to sell me a newspaper subscription from the SF Chronicle and I want to make a complaint because they shouldn't be calling people this late at night." etc, etc...
By calling the police, it would fall into the same category as to this story:
LIKE THE RECORDING OF A PERSON WHO HAD CALLED 911 because....
there was a spider in there house and the person calling, feared spiders, and they were afraid it was going to bite them and wanted the spider out of there house.....
every night or every other night between 1800 - 2000 hrs pst i get a call from this number. they never leave a message and they won't pick up in the evening when i call back but i got someone to pick up this morning, 0900 pst.
they answered the phone turnkey solutions. i spoke with michael and asked that my name be removed from the call list. his managers name is marlene.
I got a call the night before and last night at 8:27pm on my work phone! No message either. Good thing im gone for the day by the time they call. Definitely sounds like a scam.
just got another call from this number. however, unlike this recent one, the first call i received was early, around seven in the morning. judging from the other posts, this will continue. my number is not only unlisted, it's new. is there a way to block this caller?
