Got a call from someone with an indian accent. He said that I was probably having trouble with my computer because it had a virus. I told him he was full of it and hung up. My wife got a call from the same person the day before and basically told him the same thing. Scam, Scam, Scam. Beware!
Got a call twice today from this number and both times an Indian man, who could not speak English very well at all, asked if I would like him to help me with my debt. I asked how he got my number and he said from an inquiry I filled out regarding my debt problems. I then told him I filled out no such thing because A) I never fill out inquiries online and B) I have no debt. He then asked surprised, "You have no debt at all? No credit cards? No medical bills? You live a debt free life?" I just said, "I live a debt free life." Then he stuttered something and said, "Ok........... (long pause) Have a good day." I then told my husband and father about the call and my husband suggested I look the number up online which is what I did and now I see this number is just some people trying to get information from you. Judging by what I've read they've pretended to be a pharmacy, a company that "helps" you with debt, and a company that claims to help you with a "virus" in your computer. I just hope they don't actually get some innocent person's information. So sad what people do to others these days...
