Caller had my name,said he was from Windows and needed to speak with the owner of home computer,I asked what I could help him with, he asked again for owner of Computer, I hung up. he tried calling back, I didnt answer 2nd time.
when u get this call hang up because they have to keep you on the phone and the computer for a certain lenght of time before they can get in on your computer that is why they be trying to get you to talk for a long period of time
I received a call from this number. The caller said their was a problem with my computer and said he could fix it. I mentioned cost and he said $199. I told him to send me $199 and I would let him fix it. He had me repeat the offer and I did. He then said FU and hung up with me laughing.
The FTC and FCC are useless. They cannot prevent or stop harassing or scam calls. What a waste of tax payer money. No call lists are a government waste. These agencies should be shut down. The only way to shut these people down is to find out who the perpetrators are and clean them out through a class action suit. Take their cars, homes. accounts, furniture and any other assets. Deport them if they are foreigners although Obama would probably object to that. Screw them all.
