I've just reported this to Bank of America. It is a confirmed scam, and they are investigating it. This number "469-201-7025" called me at 7am this morning to say they are "Card Member Services". When I pressed them for a company name, since "Card Member Services" as a generic term, not a company name, they said they are with "FIA". FIA is an actual company, but this number is only using this other company's name ILLEGALLY> IT IS A COMPLETE SCAM. My bank--Bank of America--confirmed that you should never give your info out over the phone. If this was legit, and it really was Bank of America, they would be able to look up your account with the last 4 digits only. And also, they would never be calling you unsolicited in the first place. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR INFORMATION OR YOU WILL BE A VICTIM OF THEFT. PLEASE REPORT THIS NUMBER TO YOUR BANK SO THEY CAN BEGIN THE INVESTIGATION TO SHUT THIS DOWN!!!!!!!
They did not leave any message. I called them back and no response either. They kept bothering me by calling in the morning. Is this a telemarketer? I subscribed to "Do Not Call" already but why still got their calls? Anyway to prevent them from bothering us? Please let me know. Thanks.
