I've just reported this to Bank of America. It is a confirmed scam, and they are investigating it. This number "469-201-7025" called me at 7am this morning to say they are "Card Member Services". When I pressed them for a company name, since "Card Member Services" as a generic term, not a company name, they said they are with "FIA". FIA is an actual company, but this number is only using this other company's name ILLEGALLY> IT IS A COMPLETE SCAM. My bank--Bank of America--confirmed that you should never give your info out over the phone. If this was legit, and it really was Bank of America, they would be able to look up your account with the last 4 digits only. And also, they would never be calling you unsolicited in the first place. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR INFORMATION OR YOU WILL BE A VICTIM OF THEFT. PLEASE REPORT THIS NUMBER TO YOUR BANK SO THEY CAN BEGIN THE INVESTIGATION TO SHUT THIS DOWN!!!!!!!
Receiving numerous calls from this number. These are harassing marketing calls from obnoxious individuals who are not abiding by FCC rules regarding DNC numbers. Please tracxk down and prosecute these jerks!
Here's an idea:
1) You can report this number to the AT&T annoyance call bureau at 1-800-348-8727. If enough people call and complain, AT&T has got to do something about it - though I just called and they said I have to deal with it through my own carrier's annoyance call bureau (I'd call AT&T anyway- then your own phone company)
2) Call these inconsiderate idiots (FIA) BACK! - dial *67 before their number to hide your own number, call back, get a real person - and tell them what you think of their illegal, annoying, harassing tactics. If enough people do this, I imagine eventually they'll get the message.
This phone number showed up on my caller ID. This has happened several times and it is getting to be a real pain in the *ss. They've left no messages at all.
I just called the phone number and the woman said the company was FIA card services. I asked her "what company" is this and the only thing she said was it was a credit card service. The funny thing about it is, she didn't say specifically what credit card company it was.
I hope someone can do something about this because it is getting to be really annoying.
On our ID it says "Fia Card Svcs" which is the company official name for Bank of America. I do have CC with them but don't know why they are calling. No message left & when I called back it was after their business hours. The recording stated that you've reached Card Services and to call back between 8AM to 5PM EST.
