I've just reported this to Bank of America. It is a confirmed scam, and they are investigating it. This number "469-201-7025" called me at 7am this morning to say they are "Card Member Services". When I pressed them for a company name, since "Card Member Services" as a generic term, not a company name, they said they are with "FIA". FIA is an actual company, but this number is only using this other company's name ILLEGALLY> IT IS A COMPLETE SCAM. My bank--Bank of America--confirmed that you should never give your info out over the phone. If this was legit, and it really was Bank of America, they would be able to look up your account with the last 4 digits only. And also, they would never be calling you unsolicited in the first place. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR INFORMATION OR YOU WILL BE A VICTIM OF THEFT. PLEASE REPORT THIS NUMBER TO YOUR BANK SO THEY CAN BEGIN THE INVESTIGATION TO SHUT THIS DOWN!!!!!!!
This is a telemarketer from Bank of America making a "courtesy call". I told her that, after 150 calls to my phone, to remove us from the list. She said she would.
Every night when I come home from work this number (469) 201-7025 is on my caller id but there is never a message left for me. I've been wondering who it is.
Ever since we opened up a bank account with Bank of America we get harassed whenever we go into the bank to get their credit card that we are pre approved.
Finally to stop them from going on and on about their *bleep* credit card, I got one to shut them up and do not use it.
Then they keep calling and calling and calling.
I have a phone now where we can block their calls. So now when I look up new phone numbers that call and do not leave a message, I call block them.
Gee BOA has so many numbers and they are so annoying. When you do answer they can't even tell you WHY they are calling or what it is really about.
So, I have no problem blocking their phone numbers. It makes me regret having set up a bank account with them.
Called me at 6:42 on 11.04.09 Didn't pick up and they mistakenly they left I voicemail. I listened to it and they was no voice, no sound whatsoever. Got worried, and called back to see who it was and like all the posts here say, it's a telemarketer for credit card application.
