I've just reported this to Bank of America. It is a confirmed scam, and they are investigating it. This number "469-201-7025" called me at 7am this morning to say they are "Card Member Services". When I pressed them for a company name, since "Card Member Services" as a generic term, not a company name, they said they are with "FIA". FIA is an actual company, but this number is only using this other company's name ILLEGALLY> IT IS A COMPLETE SCAM. My bank--Bank of America--confirmed that you should never give your info out over the phone. If this was legit, and it really was Bank of America, they would be able to look up your account with the last 4 digits only. And also, they would never be calling you unsolicited in the first place. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR INFORMATION OR YOU WILL BE A VICTIM OF THEFT. PLEASE REPORT THIS NUMBER TO YOUR BANK SO THEY CAN BEGIN THE INVESTIGATION TO SHUT THIS DOWN!!!!!!!
Got a call from this number and did not answer. I do not answer numbers I do not recognize. They did not leave a message. Getting tired of people calling out of the blue. If they can still do this then what is the National Do Not Call List for? I am on it
These people have been calling me for the last week. I answered and asked them who they were. They said they were calling to thank me for opening a credit card account with them. I told them I've had the same credit card for over 20 years and to stop calling my house. They said they would remove my number if I gave them my name, address and phone number, I told her I wasn't that stupid and that since they called me they already had my number. I don't know who these people are but there's something shady about them.
