I've just reported this to Bank of America. It is a confirmed scam, and they are investigating it. This number "469-201-7025" called me at 7am this morning to say they are "Card Member Services". When I pressed them for a company name, since "Card Member Services" as a generic term, not a company name, they said they are with "FIA". FIA is an actual company, but this number is only using this other company's name ILLEGALLY> IT IS A COMPLETE SCAM. My bank--Bank of America--confirmed that you should never give your info out over the phone. If this was legit, and it really was Bank of America, they would be able to look up your account with the last 4 digits only. And also, they would never be calling you unsolicited in the first place. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR INFORMATION OR YOU WILL BE A VICTIM OF THEFT. PLEASE REPORT THIS NUMBER TO YOUR BANK SO THEY CAN BEGIN THE INVESTIGATION TO SHUT THIS DOWN!!!!!!!
You people are idiots with way to much free time. Instead of sitting on the internet doing your "searches" try calling the banks and talk with them. Fia card services is a subsidary of Bank of America. ever see the back of a BofA credit card??? it says FIA CARD SERVICES ON THE BACK! I hope you all burn in a fire in real life and get over it! your life is not that important... you didnt miss much on the phone.. and yes we love calling during dinner.. and so do you.. cause your wifes cooking is horrible! FACE PALM!!!!
side note: these phones numbers are used for thank you calls (calling customers to say thank you for doing buisness, they do not request any security information) or its a upgrade call(just saying your account got upgraded, again no security information asked for)
That is just b.s. If they were calling just to say thanks they would not call me 3 times a day everyday. I keep hoping they are calling to offer my bailout money back.
