I've received several calls from them the past week. I don't think that this is with Family Life because we've received calls from them before and their name is listed on the caller id (of course I could be wrong). I may answer it the next time to see who it is.
I am on the do not call and still get the calls, seems charities are exempt from this and can call, mine came in at 8:30 AM! I have the call blocked, but will ring one time
I get calls from that number at least once or twice a week. The only reason I hv a landline Phone is for my son who is in a prison in upstate new York. Maybe what I will do is: give that number to my son and he can hand it out to all his good buddies and let them handel it from now on??!!! C how they like me then????
Someone keeps calling from this number everyday. I answered the phone and they did not say anything! I tried to call back, but each time I called the phone number was disconnected by something hanging up. I hope someone finds out who this really is and stops it. I doubt Family Life would call and not say anything or hang up on return calls.
Have received two calls from this number this week. I never picked up due to thinking it might be a telemarketer. (I've started recently receiving some) IF this is Family Life, then they have a legal right to call me, as I have donated to them before. But I'm not entirely sure it is. If they've hired people to do their calling for them to solicit donations that was a REALLY stupid move. It's a bad use of their limited finances, and OBVIOUSLY they are not getting quality calling on their behalf.
As for the "may take 30 days"... Even Woman's Day magazine, a way larger organization took THREE tries to finally get myself off their list. As most Christian ministries are being hit just as hard by the recession as the rest of us, they are likely experiencing a cut-back in their staff, which might contribute to such a slow response time.
