I've received several calls from them the past week. I don't think that this is with Family Life because we've received calls from them before and their name is listed on the caller id (of course I could be wrong). I may answer it the next time to see who it is.
They may in fact be a very good organization helping large numbers of families in things like marriage, parenting and such but they could have the decency to leave a message. Then to take 30 days to be taken off of their do not call list is a little extreme.
I just called this number (Dec 15, 2011) and yes, it is from "Dennis Rainey's Family Live Donation Center". I put the phrase in quotes because every word within the quotes was mention in the greeting - though perhaps not exactly in that order. They may run a good charitable organization, but their Standard Operating Procedures needs an overhaul.
I answered the 2nd call from this number, it is Family Life Ministries looking for a donation. They have a ministry to couples and families, including their "weekend to remember" weekends of intensive workshops for marriages in trouble. It was a low pressure call, asking for 25-35, when I declined, they asked if they could send info in the mail for me to consider later.
