Same APPLE INC using the same scam and a new number listed in New Mexico (Albuquerque, Farmington, Santa Fe)-- 505-837-6480 calling every hour now and leaving a call back to 833-501-4720. Don't answer but annoyed having to delete all the messages on answering service. Just like Congress nothing ever gets done about these AHs!
Saturday the 27th, we received 3 calls from someone claiming they are from Apple. The woman's voice was very clear and easy to understand. She said we have a security breach in our iCloud account. (We do not have an iCloud account) She then said if we want the support adviser Press 1, to hang up Press 2. We simply let it go through voice mail and never answered.
Called SIX times in just over SIX hours! Didn't answer ANY of the calls. First few went to answering machine, but now blocked on home phone device, which sends the caller a busy signal every time :-)
Also received 4 calls from 503-265-2010 today. Pressed 2 - long hold so hung up. Then decided to call back the 844/858-8324 'Advanced Tech support' number. After a short time, a man with an accent answered. "How can i help you?" I replied "Why did you call me?." "Probably because your Apple iCloud security has been breached?" "Okay what do i need to do about it? Send you money." He said "Just hold for 2 minutes so we can trace what is happening." "Are you still there ?" "Just hold longer" - "I said this does not sound lefitimate and is some kind of a scam." and hung up.
