Same APPLE INC using the same scam and a new number listed in New Mexico (Albuquerque, Farmington, Santa Fe)-- 505-837-6480 calling every hour now and leaving a call back to 833-501-4720. Don't answer but annoyed having to delete all the messages on answering service. Just like Congress nothing ever gets done about these AHs!
This number had called me 15x today. I finally picked up, pressed 1 and got disconnected after 2 mins on hold. I called the number back and it reaches pioneer place apple store in Portland. They have no idea why our who, but say they would never call. I have no way to get them to stop calling. Very annoying
Don't think it's best buy. They call my land line and this number is attached to NOTHING anywhere. My cell is in everything and I'm still getting calls every 30 mins or so
I've received 5 calls already today from this number. The number belongs to the Pioneer Apple Store in Portland, OR, but I am sure the call is not from them and is a scam. The caller leaves a message about my icloud account being compromised and gives me a number to call. I will not call it.
5 calls in one day, same message each time. My iCloud account has been compromised. I did not pick up and didn't call them back. My search of their number brought me here.
I actually called the number back and spoke to a very pleasant employee at the actual store whose number was spoofed. She told me that she has been inundated with people who have received the same scam robocall. Looks like these jerks are getting smarter---they spoofed a number that might be associated with the scam they are pulling as opposed to the last scam like this I received that spoofed the number of house painter.
Anyway, caveat emptor, or in this case caveat audientis!
