Same APPLE INC using the same scam and a new number listed in New Mexico (Albuquerque, Farmington, Santa Fe)-- 505-837-6480 calling every hour now and leaving a call back to 833-501-4720. Don't answer but annoyed having to delete all the messages on answering service. Just like Congress nothing ever gets done about these AHs!
So here is how I was able to deduce that this was indeed a scam.
I called back the 844 number that the message said to. An automated attendant said " Thank you for calling Premium Technical Support. Your call will be transferred to the next available support analyst." Within seconds, a live "analyst" came on the phone!. Did it 5 times, never waited more than 10 seconds to speak to a live person.
6calls so far today from 503-265-2010. Caller id says Apple Inc. Same scam as I used to get from callers purporting to be from Microsoft. Why bother having a Do Not Call list? This is insane.
