Same APPLE INC using the same scam and a new number listed in New Mexico (Albuquerque, Farmington, Santa Fe)-- 505-837-6480 calling every hour now and leaving a call back to 833-501-4720. Don't answer but annoyed having to delete all the messages on answering service. Just like Congress nothing ever gets done about these AHs!
They are calling me every hour on the hour on Memorial Day. I didn't answer because I have no accounts with them, don't use the icloud, I never bought an Apple product from Apple and my phone and ipad came from Verizon and Bestbuy, not from Appple. I do have an account for both of those as far as keeping my phone updated and downloading apps from the app store, but I haven't bought anything in a long time and I don't even think my home phone which I'm getting these calls on is even listed on any of that. It's got to be a scam like the Microsoft one where they call and say they've defected an issue with my computer, which I'm smart enough to know is a load of crap. I get so sick of getting scam calls and telemarketers that I'm seriously thinking of disconnecting my landline even though we do use it. The Do Not Call list does nothing. I even went back on it and re-entered all of our numbers to make sure we were still on the list, which we are, but these scammers don't care.
I finally was able to answer. A recorded message saying there was a security problem with my icloud account and before I use any of my apple devices to call their support at a different number than the one they were calling from. That makes even less sense.
