Man claimed to have spoken with an executive who has been overseas for a couple of years now. When I said that he wasn't here, he acted surprised, reiterating that he'd talked to him just last week (an old ruse). He requested the new number, I refused, he started to give me a hard time but then hung up.
Rude people. Called me ask for owner by first name only, told him that he was out of town and he said give me his cell number. That will never happen. This company does not share cell numbers. I hung up He called back and ask for my last name and I said no. He than advised me he was pulling all his business with us. We don't do business with these people any way. I asked him who is was and he hung up on me.
Craig called from Aegis Capital, what a tool. Asked for the business owner by name and he was returning his call. Yeah right! Been doing this a long time and I know a scammer when I hear one. Put him on hold for 45 secs, said that my boss didn't recognize the name (he's on vacation anyway). Craig responds "Tell him to pick up the damn phone, I don't have time for this!" I wonder how many times this actually works and he gets to talk to the boss?
If this is a financial company, I am shocked. This guy was totally rude. He asked for my boss by name, and when I asked if I could tell him who was calling please (because I knew full well it was a sales call and my boss won't take sales calls), he hollared in my ear, "yea, tell him it's Fxxxing Dick A Wong" and hung up. Needless to say, I was stunned for a second that someone calling my work phone, trying to drum up business would actually speak to me like that, totally unprovoked. Seriously dude!
