Man claimed to have spoken with an executive who has been overseas for a couple of years now. When I said that he wasn't here, he acted surprised, reiterating that he'd talked to him just last week (an old ruse). He requested the new number, I refused, he started to give me a hard time but then hung up.
Same thing just happened to me. After they called me twice last week looking for Jim and now again today, I call and they apparently put me on a do not call list.
Looked up number as phone was still ringing. Had to pick up the line to enter 2 touch-tone digits to block the call; heard a very loud boiler-room, everybody talking and echoing in the background.
A financial investment company that cannot even afford cubicles or noise-cancelling headsets for their employees? Yeah, no funds for you!
