Got a call from this number, display said New York so I didn't answer it. Left a voicemail, in a janky computer voice, saying they were the IRS and they were going to be filing a 'lawsuit' against me. And then left a completely different number to return a call to stop the legal process...
I received a call from 516-285-9894 saying to call the IRS that they are filling a lawsuit against me then gave a number to call 206-855-3282.. totally a scam I never called.
I received a call from this number a few minutes ago. I let the answering machine take it. Female voice said the IRS was going to file a law suit against me and I was supposed to call 310-929-7459 to learn more about the case file. It is most certainly an attempt to solicit money. I have not yet tried to find out what the 310 number is.
Recorded voice threatened "final notification - IRS filing law suit against 'you' " (me) for taxes owed, and to call the non-800 number provided.
I happen to know that IRS will just send a letter if you owe them money, and keep sending letters with interest added every month. They will not call you, and they only use 800 numbers for Tax Payer inbound calls. Stupid criminals - Caller ID shows the 516-286-9894 New York outbound number. If I redial that #, it is only a generic messaging system.

Received a call at 6 a.m. from 516-285-9894 saying the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me. Figured it was a scam, though was at first a bit scared. Researched & verified it was a scam. When you call this # it doesn't go through. Didn't bother calling the other # they left.
