just received call from 516-288-1515 it was actually answered by my mom and divulged information from
a lady recording that my social security number and my wages are going to be garnished. I tried to call
the number on my caller id which was 516-288-1515 and called that number but call does not go through.
Call from Robert woods that my social is being sued and if I did not call back within two days they will start to garnish my wages and my credit will be ruin so I feel if they have anything on me send out some papers that I can like at but we all know it's a scam
DO NOT FEED IN TO THIS. EITHER WAY IT WOULD HAVE TO BE TOOK TO THE COURTS , IN THE USA WE RECEIVE NEWS LIKE THIS FIRST FROM THE PEOPLE YOU OWE WHO WILL TELL YOU THEY ARE TURNING YOU OVER AND WHERE THEY ARE SENDING YOU. 2nd off THEY SEND INFORMATION LIKE THIS IN THE MAIL/ OR BY SHERIFF. [[[ NOT THREATS ]]] AND WHY IN THE HELL WOULD WE HIRE FORIEGN COUNTRIES TO HIRE LAWYERS AND STAFF TO HARASS AN COLLECT DEBTS FROM PPL MILES AND MILES AWAY. I RECEIVE MANY CALLS FROM MANY #S AN STATES - I BELEIVE IT IS THE SAME COMPANY/PERSON. ALL SAY THEIR SUEING- NONE HAVE TAKEN ACTION.
I just got a call from this number, and it's the same voice and threatening message I have gotten from other numbers all over the country: "This is an urgent message for ________. Your name and SS number are being sued..." They have too much info about me, incl the phone numbers of places of employment. They tell me that the amount of money I owe is something like 1600, but they will settle for 400 right now!
These calls are increasing and, along with them, threatening emails.
