These people called me at work and said I had a lawsuit against me but would give me no details, only told me to call back. The first guy said his name was Roy Morgan and I should call back immediately and speak Mike Robinson. I first looked up then number and found this thread. When I didn't call them, they called me back. I told them I would call the police if they call me again.
I have received harassing phone calls from this number claiming to be American Legal Services on a payday loan default. It is a scam!!!! They are calling at my home and at work. Saying they will black list my social security number. They have my bank account number and social number. They state they are working for federal legislation of the united states.
I received a call today on my cell and work claiming I took a loan out in Aug from Cashnet! What a lie, so I called and told them I wanted more information he kept cutting me off said he had to read something to me so when I started talking faster then him, he got upset and hung up on me. I called right back and told him I was filing a complaint on them and dared them to call my work or cell again!
I got a call from this number 3 times. The first two times I got the call i hung up and they called right back. a person with a heavy foreign accent answered. He asked me if i was aware of a law suit against my name. I said no if I had any law suit against my name I'm sure a legit lawyer would serve me with paper or send certified. He tried to transfer me to someone but i told him no if this is legit i want it from an actual lawyer certified. (i know its not real). Then i hung up on the guy.
I think this is from a pay day loan or car loan company. One day i was "thinking" about gettign a pay day loan and almost fell for the trick until i realized the car was tryign to give me a CAR LOAN. Not a pay day loan. I did not need a car loan!! I never took any advance from any company. This is a scam. I have all kinds of ppl that now call my cell phone and I have had to unsubscribe to a million e-mails to stop them. MY advice don't be trusting and dumb like I was and give out any personal information ever, unless you know the number. If you need a pay day loan (which charge about 100% intrest) go to a legit place. Better solution, be poor for a few days until your pay check. Also don't use "tiptopcash" they will give you phone number to a million pay day loan places an harras you even when you tell them you are NOT interested in any pay day loan!
I pray to God I don't get anymore calls from this number. If i do I'm just going to change my phone number!
I received a call from Mike Roberson from American legal credit services and he told me that I owed money on a pay day loan that I never received. He told me that would be able to work with me and give me an amount that was owed and that I could pay it off immediately. The other number associated with these people is 8034008484
