I just recieved a call from the same people who are saying that they are sueing me and that I took a pay day loan out for 400 dollars and i need to pay it back. I am so upset because he argued with me saying I did indeed take this loan out and if i didnt pay it back they are taking me to court. they called me a few times last week but when I started to ask questions the guy hung up on me I called back and he hung up agian. the guy on the phone today told me I was a lier and that I Do not believe in Jesus crist!! I am calling the local police to file a complaint. oan he also said he has a copy of my DL but that is a lie as well.
I received a call from this phone number with a call forward on my cell phone. I generally ignore unknown phone numbers. I have been getting these types of calls since December 2010. They threaten you saying they are having your local police come to your work and have you arrested and call your employer and have you fired, if you don't comply with there demands. A few weeks ago I had one of them call me on my work number and because I wouldn't give him my managers name and phone number he started calling nonstop. Finally I went to my director and explained to him what was happening and had the phone number blocked. If I do answer any of these calls I get their information and I am going to be contacting the Federal Trade Commission and Home Land Security with all of the different phone numbers that have called and made threats and tried to extort money out of me. As others have posted you can't understand what they are saying let alone get their name. Another thing they do is state the are from an Attorney's office/law firm. Which is a lie. I have contacted several of them and they are aware of these scumbags using their name to scam money from us. Everyone should be calling the Federal Trade Commission and Home Land Security and report these people.
Hello - I just wanted to post these phone numbers 607-595-1862 (Binghamton, NY) and 760-624-8174 (Calipatria, CA). They are scamming and claim to be calling on behalf of "State Department Federal Credit Union." The two fake names of the people who called me was: Thompson Watt and Bruce Shrek (very broken English and heavy Indian accents). They continuously called my cell phone non-stop and attempted to call my job directly a couple of times. Just like everyone else who has posted here, my situation is similar where I am told that if I don't comply with them they will "send the cops to my door". The scammer "Thompson Watt" actually transferred me to someone who was supposed to be higher up than him to give me more information about this debt that I supposedly owe (which I don't!) Once I was transferred, I asked the man to tell me more information that he could not supply so I told him I was reporting him and I hung up. He immeditalely called me back and left me a voicemail saying "I have robbed your social security number and your benefits will now cease." These guys are crooks as you all are very aware. I just wanted to be sure to post the two numbers that were harrassing me.
I am receiving several threating phone calls on my cell , this man was saying I was being sued but couldn't give information on the phone and he said my social security number would be black list "whatever that means". He said his name is Shawn Michael from some Federal place.
I was just called from this number 607-595-1862. The guy had a very heavy and hard to understand accent. He told me he was a detective with the NYPD. So I hung up and called right back, the guy that answered simply said, "thanks for calling..." So I asked where was I calling and he said, "who is this?" Needless to say, I hung up and they havent called back...............................................yet!
