I received a call to asking for my mom, she said that was with Honeywell Security and, my 3 year warrenty was expiring. Caught me off guard. She said. "Can you hear me". It was too late. I said. "Yeah". ALERT ALERT...
P/C f: (614) 524-4801 @ 11:28AM on 28Sept2013. Caual Winche, OH. Called to confirm if this was a Mrs. ------. I told the female caller; "Wrong. There is no Mrs. here," then hung up on the caller.
Caller (mid eastern accent) inquired about my 3 year old alarm system. Said I don't have one. Forgot to mention dog and tools for self protection ( : o ).
I too got a foreign caller stating that my alarm system hadn't been updated in 3 years. I do not have service with this company. When I asked the woman to take me off their list she said, "Why, you are not listed on the DNCL list". She even used the acronym.
Got the same call, sounded like an older woman. She said she was calling about older alarm. I said we don't have one (probably bad on my part) and she said oh and started to beans up as I was asking for her name...
So weird, got a call from this number. Caller sounded like middle eastern male. Asked for me by my first and last name and asked about our "3 yr old alarm system". I immediately hung up not answering any questions because it seemed very strange. The strangest thing is that our phone number isn't under my name, its under my fiancé (different last name and everything), I don't give out the number and it IS on the DNCL. The more I think about it the stranger it seems because it was a local number.
