I received a call to asking for my mom, she said that was with Honeywell Security and, my 3 year warrenty was expiring. Caught me off guard. She said. "Can you hear me". It was too late. I said. "Yeah". ALERT ALERT...
Just had the same thing happen to me and, like many of you, didn't think before I responded that we don't have an alarm. It was an older sounding Middle-eastern woman. I used *57 to trace the call and the service responded that the trace was successful. At least if something happens, the police can follow-up. Has anyone had any suspicious activity or attempted break-ins after the call? That is my main concern.
Woman with Indian accent said she was from the manufacturer of my alarm system and that it was over three years old - asked if I was "from ADT?" I said "Why are you asking?" She hung up immediately.
Middle Eastern caller has called me about once a week for awhile and asks for Betty every time. When I tell him its not, and please dont call anymore, he hangs up.
Please stop calling my home! I told the person to put me on the Do Not Call List and they replied "no" and hung up. I am reporting this to the Attorney General.
Same thing. Called claiming to be with Honeywell & askd about my 3yr old alarm system. When I pointed out my house was less than 2yrs old she hung up on me. Called Honeywell & they said they do no direct marketing and it would be referred to their litigation dept. Also registered with local sheriff in Canal Winchester. Never tried to sell me anything, sounds like they were trying to case the place out.
