I received a call to asking for my mom, she said that was with Honeywell Security and, my 3 year warrenty was expiring. Caught me off guard. She said. "Can you hear me". It was too late. I said. "Yeah". ALERT ALERT...
I got a call from 614-524-4801 and a man with a middle Eastern accent was asking me to review a 3 year old Honeywell alarm system installed in my home. Very strange sounds like a scam. My called ID indicates that the call is coming from Canal Winchester, Ohio.
Live female calling, claiming to be from my alarm manufacturer asking about it and telling me it needs upgraded. Told her have no problems and any upgrades will be dome through the monitoring company to prevent problems. Wanting to send representative to explain everything and told her NO! Told her I would be contacting monitoring company about the calls for an upgrade. Could not identify alarm type or monitoring company I have. Total scam to get personal information.
