I received a call to asking for my mom, she said that was with Honeywell Security and, my 3 year warrenty was expiring. Caught me off guard. She said. "Can you hear me". It was too late. I said. "Yeah". ALERT ALERT...
They are scammers trying to find out if you have a home alarm system or not. Claiming to be Honeywell and then ADT, stating that your alarm system is more than three years old. When I asked who they were, they hung up. When I called back, they claimed it was a wrong number.
Repeated calls from this number in Canal Winchester, Ohio. When I pick up, there is no answer - so I hang up. I did get a call almost identical to the one above that Rich in Ohio posted. I told them we just renewed a contract and what company where they calling from - they hung up.
Got a call from this number from a man with middle eastern accent. He said I had a security system with them for three years. I hung up, called sheriff and AG office. Caller ID said Canal Winchester..could not call back the number.
Got the same call about 3 year old alarm system, they claimed Honeywell then Monitronics which is an actual company. We're on the DNCL and when confronted with that they got snarky and said "go ahead and report us".
