I got a message from my sister in law saying some was trying to reach me in a urgent matter when I called it was answered Micheal Michael Green Associates the number was 844 717 3760 saying that I had three charges against me is this real how do I find out???
They arent a lawyer. They cant call themselves colkection agency. They are a sxam and are not registered w the nc department of insurance which true collection agencies must be. Total scam.
This morning my husband, who by the way is very ill with heart problems and dementia, answered a call about our son, who was threatened with an arrest warrant if he did not call right back. Our son does not live with us and this is not the first time this has happened.This upset us very much. They gave a case number as well as a phone number but when they called it came up unavailable . I called the number back and someone did answer but when I was given options my choice did not answer, I called back and chose another option and got a voice mail so I left them a message and told them they had better never call our house again and if they did I would report them. The local police department says no one can issue a warrant except a Judge and there is no warrant for our son.
The phone number for Michael Green & Assoc. I was given is:866 688 1019. I did return their call, and spoke with a woman identified as Jamie. She informed me that my local county had issued a bench warrant for my arrest and were on their way to my home as we were speaking. If I gave her the information needed, she would cut them off at the pass, so to speak, and I could avoid arrest. I gave them my pre-paid debit card info (which has now been stopped w/issuer). They had me so flustered-asked for the first five digits of my social and later in the conversation, asked for the last four. I asked several times for something to be sent in writing but she said an email with all info would be sent shortly. It never came. I have made every attempt to stop them from accessing my money. Just be aware that this is a SCAM,SCAM,SCAM!!!!!
