I also received a call saying they were looking fro someone with my name and if I knew the person I soul call back. I have done this before and was treated rudely when I asked them to how me proof of debt in writing. They refused and told me I needed to send them money today or they would take me to court. I said would see them in court and hung up. They refused t give me any details and were threatening. I was at work, and they called on my cell.
Oooooh, based on the history of these callers for me, they tend to either call on a Tuesday or Thurs. Can't wait to get this dumb call from these a**clowns, they are already blocked but somehow they still get to voicemail.
OHHH the gall. I answered the phone and I hear a robot..says it is looking for me...If I am me hit 1..... then it puts me on hold...then the hold says to hit # to leave a message to get a call back!! Like I really want to waste my time...if they can't do it right in the first place.... have to gather this is one of those scammers or debt collectors for a debt I probably paid off to the company years ago.... have blocked all future calls.

And the plot thickens, they have now started calling my very distant cousin in California and my great aunt! How fantastic, is there anything that can be done? Anyone know of anything more that can be done? I'm so embarrassed and saddened by this. It's truly ruining my life, in every aspect. I'm on the verge of getting fired from my job over all of this. I feel sick, my depression is sinking in again. These people are relentless, who knows what will happen next. I'm waiting for them to call my landlord next and I get evicted over this crap, they've already called her once and she was pissed threatening to evict me for being a criminal.
